How About Party Ribs For Super Bowl Sunday?

Kids Recipe is in Miami for the Super Bowl. Besides the game, the commercials, the fun at Fan Jam, food is the most important part of the day otherwise known as "National Snack Day!"  My family loves ribs, so at kids recipes we could not think of not serving party ribs for this Sundays Super Bowl.  Watch Greg and Les show how to make Party Ribs for Super Bowl.

Peppermint Fudge Holiday Cookies You Will Love

The holidays always are a fun time to bring the kids into the kitchen and carry out family traditions. This recipe is a new holiday cookie recipe we learned about from a Chicago friend.  I made them and everyone loved them!  So try them it's fun, easy, and a very special holiday cookie to put out this holiday season.

PEPPERMINT FUDGE COOKIE SANDWICHES

1/4 c butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
3/4 semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3/4 c flour
2 crushed candy canes
1/4 c white chocolate morsels
10-12 peppermint patties

1. Preheat to 375. Line cookie sheet w/ parchment. Microwave swmi sweet chocolate morsels and butter on high 60 seconds, stirring after each 20 second interval. Add sugar and egg to bowl. Mix until l blended. Add flour and mix until all dry ingredients are mixed. Using a small scoop, drop level scoops of batter onto pan. Bake 10 min or until edges done.

2. Prepare white chocolate for melting in microwave and have crushed candy canes and peppermint patties ready. Prepare but do not microwave yet!

3. Remove cookie pan from oven. Immediately turn half of the cookies over and top with peppermint patty and remaining cookies to form sandwiches.

4. Put Candy Canes in plastic bag and smash with meat tenderizer hammer or similar kitchen tool.

5. While the hot cookies and patties are molding and cooling, melt white chocolate morsels for 30 secs. or until smooth. You will use this chocolate for drizzling. Inverted a plastic baggie over your hand, scooping the melted white chocolate into the inverted baggie, turn baggie right side out, the twist tightly with tie, then snip a little corner off the baggie to use as a piping bag. Squeeze the baggie and use for piping white chocolate over cookie sandwiches.  Immediately sprinkle with crushed candy canes.  Place on serving platter.

Serve warm or cold both ways they are marvelous!

Easy Family Recipe For Beef Brisket With Coca Cola

Beef Brisket with Coca-Cola

This is a famous Jewish Recipe, for a delicious Beef Brisket made with Coca Cola. The flavors cook together and is a simple cost saving meal. Men love this recipe and eat slices for days, so we recommend a large brisket.

Ingredients

  • 1 3 to 4 pound beef brisket
  • 1 envelope dry Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 12 oz. bottle of regular Coca Cola
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Trim meat of as much fat as possible.
  3. Place the brisket in a 9 x 13 shallow baking pan and sprinkle with the dry onion soup mix.
  4. Top with the can of diced tomatoes.
  5. Pour the Coca-Cola over top. With a spoon, spread the tomatoes all over the brisket to make sure all of the meat is covered.
  6. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven 3 to 4 hours or until brisket is fork tender.
  7. Important: Remove the brisket from the oven, and let it rest for at least 20 minutes. This will give the meat time for the juices to re-distribute.
  8. Brisket traditionally has more flavor the next day
  9. Slice thinly against the grain.

Looking For Quick After-School Snack?

Get your kids into the kitchen after school for a quick delicious snack.
Spread a 1” layer of slightly softened ice cream on a cookie, then top with another cookie. Kids can then pat the ice cream edges with cake decorator sprinkles, candy-coated chocolate pieces, mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and immediately add to the freezer.

Remembering Michael Jackson

Will You Be There lyrics

Hold Me
Like The River Jordan
And I Will Then Say To Thee
You Are My Friend

Carry Me
Like You Are My Brother
Love Me Like A Mother
Would You Be There?

Weary
Tell Me Will You Hold Me
When Wrong, Will You Skold Me
When Lost Will You Find Me?

But They Told Me
A Man Should Be Faithful
And Walk When Not Able
And Fight Till The End
But I'm Only Human

Everyone's Taking Control Of Me
Seems That The World's
Got A Role For Me
I'm So Confused
Will You Show To Me
You'll Be There For Me
And Care Enough To Bear Me

(Hold Me) show me
(Lay Your Head Lowly)
told me
(Softly Then Boldly)
(Carry Me There)
I'm Only Human

(Lead Me)
hold me
(Love Me And Feed Me)
ye yeah
(Kiss Me And Free Me)
yeah
(I Will Feel Blessed)
I'm Only Human

(Carry)
Carry
(Carry Me Boldly)
Carry me
(Lift Me Up Slowly)
yeah
(Carry Me There)
I'm Only Human

(Save Me)
need me
(Heal Me And Bathe Me)
lift me up lift me up
(Softly You Say To Me)
(I Will Be There)
I Will Be There

(Lift Me)
i'm gonna care
(Lift Me Up Slowly)
(Carry Me Boldly)
yeah
(Show Me You Care)
Show Me You Care

(Hold Me)
whoooo
(Lay Your Head Lowly)
i git lonly some times
(Softly Then Boldly)
i git lonly
(Carry Me There)
yeah yeah carry me there
yeah yeah yeah
[Spoken]
In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care?
Will You Be There?
In My Trials
And My Tripulations
Through Our Doubts
And Frustrations
In My Violence
In My Turbulence
Through My Fear
And My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I'll Never Let You Part
For You're Always In My Heart.
